Warranty

At The Standing Desk, we build our products to last. Every desk is designed with durable materials, engineered components, and careful craftsmanship. Each one is hand-assembled in Michigan, where our team inspects every part before it leaves our facility.

We stand behind that work with a 5-year limited warranty. This warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship that affect how your desk performs under normal use.

What the 5-Year Warranty Covers

This warranty applies to the following products and components:

Base Assemblies and Components

  • Ändern/Ändern E

  • Lüften

  • Klöud

  • Nimbus
  • Oben

  • Recken

  • Möbel

Additional Covered Components

  • Work surfaces

  • Cable management systems

  • Casters and glides

If a defect in the materials or construction affects the way your desk operates, we will repair or replace the affected part during the warranty period.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

Certain issues fall outside of the warranty coverage. These include:

  • Seating
    Our chairs are made by a partner manufacturer in the United States. They do not accept returns, and for that reason, we cannot either. If you believe your chair has a manufacturing defect, please contact us so that we can help coordinate a solution.

  • Normal Wear and Tear
    Regular use may cause small scratches, minor finish changes, or other cosmetic wear. These are normal and not considered defects.

  • Improper Use or Damage
    Damage caused by incorrect assembly, misuse, neglect, modification, or improper maintenance is not covered. This includes damage caused by cleaning products or exposure to moisture, heat, or sunlight.

  • Products Not Made by The Standing Desk
    Accessories or items that were not manufactured by The Standing Desk are excluded from this warranty.

If Your Order Arrives Damaged or Missing Parts

If your item arrives damaged or with missing components, please contact us right away. Send clear photos of the damaged item and the packaging so we can file a claim with the shipping carrier.

Most carriers allow claims within 48 hours of delivery. Contacting us quickly helps us process your replacement parts or a new item at no cost to you.

Warranty Guidelines

  • The warranty applies only to the original purchaser.

  • The coverage period begins on the date the product ships.

  • Proof of purchase may be required for a claim.

  • Replacement or repaired parts are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.

Our Commitment to Quality

Every Standing Desk product is tested to BIFMA X5.5 commercial standards for safety, stability, and durability. These standards are used throughout the furniture industry to ensure that products hold up in daily use, whether at home or in a commercial space.

We want your desk to work as well years from now as it did on the first day. If you ever need help after the warranty period ends, our team can assist with replacement parts or service guidance.
